Flying to Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate Airport is located 2 kilometers from the city center and has daily flights directly to and from Casablanca with Royal Air Maroc.

 

Airport Pick Up/Drop Off

Transportation will be provided upon your arrival at Ouarzazate airport. Once you arrive and complete entry procedures, please go to the “CIF@10 desk and provide your name and hotel. This same service will be offered for your return to the airport from the three preferred hotels (Le Berbere Palace, Hotel Farah Al Janoub, Hotel Club Hanane).

 

Shuttle Services in Ouarzazate

A shuttle service will be provided to and from the Masen Center for guests staying at the three preferred hotels (Le Berbere Palace, Hotel Farah Al Janoub, Hotel Club Hanane). The schedule will be provided upon arrival at the hotel. Should you choose not to stay at one of the three preferred hotels, you will need to make your way to one of these hotels to access the shuttle service and entry to the venue.

 

Entry Visa

Visas for travelers visiting Morocco must be obtained prior to entry into the country. You are kindly reminded to verify specific requirements (including transit visa) before travelling. Please ensure that your application for a visa request is submitted well in advance of the meeting dates as issuance may take up to four weeks.

For participants requiring an entry visa but without an in-country diplomatic mission or Moroccan Embassy, the CIF Administrative Unit is collaborating with the relevant Moroccan departments to assist with issuing those participants with a visa on arrival.  Please contact the CIF Administrative Unit at cif_events@worldbank.org to request assistance on this matter – kindly ensure that your passport is valid for six months from the date of entry.

An emergency response team will be available on-site at the Masen center and Le Berbere Palace Hotel for any medical emergencies.

Safety and Security

To ensure the safety and security of all participants, comprehensive security checks will be carried out at the entrance of the conference site and hotels. Proof of identification must be provided to access all sites.
